My first official week of interning in the city has come to an end, and on my first off day I got to see New York past 57th and 8th. Of course, I landed myself in Brooklyn. After my first visit for a photoshoot, I was dying to get back. So, I dragged my roommate out and we hit the pavement.
Here are 3 things I love about this borough:
1. Of course, the Brooklyn Bridge.
2. How good I look standing on this beautiful piece of steel! (Excuse the oily skin. We did lots of walking)
3. The Beekman Pub in the Financial District

I enjoyed my very first Cosmopolitan in the city at this amazing pub. The atmosphere was great, and the Fried Calmari with the house hot sauce was delicious.
